The UV-curing inks are developed for direct printing on various porous and non-porous substrates or on those substrates which, due to their composition, are not suitable for marking with polymeric inks, solvents, or those applications that require immediate ink drying. Another important benefit of UV-curing inks is that they are totally indelible and can withstand scratching, friction, UV rays and rubbing with some chemicals, industrial oils, release agents and lubricants.

A UV curing lamp is required for the ink to cure on the substrate, this lamp can be a stand alone curing system, the UV led lamp does not depend on the printer to cure, or a system synchronized with the printer allowing the curing to be optimized with the printed message.
